Welcome to Real Life Christian Counseling
At Real Life Christian Counseling (RLCC), our mission is to help you experience peace, healing, and spiritual transformation through biblical, Christ-centered counseling. Whether you're facing emotional pain, spiritual confusion, strained relationships, or internal struggles like anxiety, guilt, or fear, we walk alongside you with compassion and truth. We believe you were uniquely created by God with a purpose, and our goal is to help you live in the fullness of that design.

Our Approach: Biblical Counseling Rooted in Spiritual Identity
We use a method called Creation Therapy, a Bible-based counseling model that begins with understanding your God-given spiritual design — what we call your "spiritual genetics." Based on the truth of Psalm 139 — "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb... I am fearfully and wonderfully made" — this approach recognizes that you are not a blank slate but were wonderfully and intentionally created.  God designed each person to live in relationship with Him, and emotional and spiritual struggles often stem from trying to meet deep inner needs apart from that design. Through Creation Therapy, we help you identify those needs and guide you toward God's provision and healing.

Our ministry offers Bible-based, Christ-centered guidance rooted in Scripture and prayer. This is distinct from psychological therapy or state-licensed counseling.

How the Process Works
Step 1: Temperament Analysis Before your second session, you'll complete a temperament profile called the Arno Profile System (APS). This powerful tool reveals your inborn temperament — your spiritual and emotional wiring — helping us understand how God uniquely designed you.
Step 2: Personal Insight and Healing With your APS results as a guide, we begin identifying the root causes of internal and relational conflict. You'll learn how your temperament influences your needs, strengths, weaknesses, and stress triggers — and how to live in balance through God’s truth.
Step 3: Surrender and Transformation We walk with you through a process of surrendering false ways of meeting your needs and embracing God's ways. As you grow in spiritual maturity and dependence on Christ, you will experience greater peace with yourself, others, and God. We teach biblical principles to help you overcome anxiety, anger, depression, fear, and more.

Our goal is not behavior modification, but spiritual renewal — helping you be filled with the Holy Spirit, your Comforter and Counselor.

What We Believe
RLCC is not affiliated with any denomination. We welcome anyone seeking biblical truth and healing. Our beliefs are grounded in Scripture and well represented by the Nicene Creed:

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.  We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.  We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic (universal) and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.  Amen.

Ethics and Confidentiality
We honor the privacy of every person we counsel. Our ethical standards align with the National Christian Counselors Association (N.C.C.A.), and we respect the confidentiality of each counseling relationship within the limits of the law.
Note: RLCC provides Christian spiritual counseling and is not a provider of state-licensed professional counseling, psychotherapy, or marriage and family therapy.

You're Invited to Begin Your Journey
Healing begins with understanding — and true transformation begins with Christ. If you're ready to take the next step toward wholeness, we're here to walk with you in truth, love, and hope.
