REAL LIFE CHRISTIAN COUNSELING identifies root problems in order to promote healing and help you become the person God created you to be. Method: Assessing Your Spiritual Genetics
We use a non-secular counseling model called Creation Therapy. This method allows you to better understand yourself and your relationship with God. The Bible says, " For you created my inmost being: you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well." (Psalms 139:13-14) Human beings are not born as a blank slate. They are each uniquely and wonderfully created, and that is the basis of our method. God created human beings for the sole purpose of glorifying Jesus Christ, and it is His will that they live in complete dependence upon Him. We provide Bible-based, spiritual counseling. This is not the practice of psychology, state-licensed professional counseling, psychotherapy or state-licensed marriage and family therapy. The counseling philosophy and approach provided is Jesus-centered. You will be offered biblical Christian counseling, hope, and practical help.
Process
Your journey toward real help with your problems will begin when we administer the temperament analysis called The Arno Profile System (APS), typically before your second session. This temperament analysis identifies your God-given, inborn temperament, which will pinpoint problems and lead you toward greater understanding of yourself. After the temperament analysis is administered, we will begin to identify causes of your inner conflicts as well as conflicts in your relationships. You will gain insight into strategies to resolve them. We will teach you to identify your needs, strengths, and weaknesses in order to help you find a balance and relieve stress and anxiety. The process develops within you a willingness to surrender erroneous ways of meeting your needs, and a desire to replace them with true ways that are in accordance with God's will. This paves the way toward spiritual and emotional healing. Our counselees learn to find peace within themselves, within their environment, and with the Lord. Through this process we provide individuals with practical help from the Word of God for the problems of life. You will learn what the Bible says about overcoming stress, anxiety, anger, depression, and other disorders.
Our approach teaches hurting individuals how to draw closer to God and surrender to His will and purpose for their lives. Our goal is to help you become filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit, who should be your ever-present help, Comforter, and perfect Counselor.

Beliefs
We are not denominational and welcome all people. We exalt Christ. The Nicene Creed is a good representation of the other beliefs upon which we base our counseling:
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
